From the sensor in your freezer to the alert on your phone — here's how every part of the system connects.
°Celsi is based on independent temperature measurement via wireless sensors. Sensors are Bluetooth (BLE 5.0) with extended range. To connect basements or long distances we can add our Bluetooth Extenders, which extends the range via multiple floor buildings or hundreds of metres. Sensors measure every second; we aggregate data by minute.
°Celsi can integrate a wide range of sensors under one system: from temperature ranges –200 °C to +300 °C, to humidity, PIR (security), door open/close, handheld thermometers, and many more.
Data are collected via Mini Hub, a USB-stick-size device with display and transmitted to our cloud servers via local WiFi. If WiFi is not available or accessible, we use a Wireless Modem with battery backup (UPS) module. It can go 12 hours without electricity.
Even without a designated UPS, in case of power failure clients can plug the Mini Hub into a power bank or any USB power device, set up a mobile hotspot and have uninterrupted measurements.
Access to the dashboard is via scanning a QR code — no need to install an app and it works on any device, from mobile and tablets to desktop. Companies with multiple branches can have a special management admin with an overview of all locations and tracking KPIs.
Each food safety form and checklist has a dedicated QR code. That means anyone from your staff can scan the code and make the record. We can also generate for you a unique design poster to engage with your staff.
°Celsi sends a weekly report of temperature charts. When temperature is outside of range, the system — after a configurable delay — sends a message via WhatsApp or SMS. With WhatsApp messages we can track delivery and read status.
°Celsi is the only temperature monitoring provider that offers automated personalised voice calls in case of an escalating issue.
We are always monitoring the functionality of the whole system. In case of sensor failure or low battery, we deliver a full sensor replacement. In standard conditions our most popular sensor S1 (–40 °C to 60 °C) lasts 2.5 years.
